Trying on a partially finished sweater in my office. Pattern is Partner Pullover by Lydia Morrow in size 9. Yarn used is Hobbii Winter Glow in col 21 (a subtly heathered multicolor in muted shades of red, yellow and teal) and Hobbii Winter Glow Solid in Petrol (a deep teal).

Dang, that's the cutest turtle I've ever seen!

Seated at a shaving horse and surrounded by piles of curly wood shavings - a naturally curved piece of white oak is clamped into the horse and has been shaved smooth with a draw knife.

7 sets of white oak stool legs poke out of the top of a wood kiln so that the tenons - the end of the leg which will be joined into the seat, can dry. Most of the legs are wrapped in tin foil, so that the exposed wood just outside the kiln does not dry too quickly.

A fully assembled 3-legged stool. It is roughly 20 inches tall. Each leg features a hand carved knee and calf to resemble a human leg. Curved rungs connect the three legs in a T shape.

Woodworking is no joke - this was the most physically demanding workshop I've taken by a mile! But I suppose that makes the end result that much more gratifying. Class was "Designing a 3 Legged Stool" with Charles Thompson at Arrowmont

Two hand knitted sweater sleeves, side by side on a blanket. They feature a squiggle colorwork pattern in deep teal and a variegated yarn in shades of red, purple, and green.

And just like that, one sleeve has become two! And they look mostly the same! Really quite proud of myself for taking on a Big Project and making consistent progress 👏

Two skeins of hand-dyed yarn. One is called "Watermelon Radish" and is a vibrant pink, green and white variegated yarn with dark pink flecks. The other is called "Bunching Green Onion" and is a spring green to white gradient with flecks of deep brown. Between them is a set of "Weird Ohio" stitch markers: a corn cob, the Hell is Real sign, the Longaberger Basket building, Grandpa's Cheese Barn and Big Butter Jesus (God rest His soul)

I'm new to knitting, so when everyone was talking about LYS week in #showmeyourknits - I thought they meant Love Your Self

The beginning of a hand-knit sweater featuring a colorwork pattern of vertical squiggles. The yarns are Hobbii Winter Glow color 21 - a slightly muted rainbow gradient, and Hobbii Winter glow Solid in Petrol, a deep heathered teal.

After a few setbacks and some frogging, I'm getting into the groove of this pattern. Just love the color changes in this yarn 😍
