A very busy train yard

Lots of people talk about "losing their train of thought". This is my, and I'm pretty sure this is typical of most neurodivergent folks, "train of thought"

This is what evil looks like. If you don't think so, take a long look in the mirror.

I also saw someone I used to work with blaming the Democrats solely for the US Gov shutdown, so maybe LinkedIn has its uses after all (as a way to filter out people you definitely want no further contact with)

So chasing this "FOUNDER FIRST" bullshit mindset you're deliberately excluding potential perfect hires from disadvantaged or lower socio-economic backgrounds, thereby further entrenching the rich white boy mindset of Bay Area startup culture.

Do better.

Sure, it would be absolutely wonderful to work somewhere and build up a new hot product from the ground up, but if you're in San Francisco, average rent is $3,113/mo. Unless you're already wealthy or have a bunch of cash on hand you cannot afford to live and work in those conditions

I saw a ridiculous comment on LinkedIn today (redundant phrasing I know) about people declining job offers for small startups as "refusing to become a founder and just chasing a paycheck". What elitist bullshit. People have to "chase" pay in this climate because the cost of everything is so high

Back when Aotearoa New Zealand was voting via referendum on whether or not to ditch First Past the Post for Mixed Member Proportional for our voting system, the cartoonist Murray Ball put out the below comic.

I see those telling New Yorkers not to vote for Zohran Mamdani and think on this comic.

Script finally fully works. Looking for matching IDs in the aforementioned 1.7 million row (sometimes badly formed) JSON data file against a CSV file's column, and then bring back a mixture of fields/IDs from those two files and another CSV cross referenced to the first.

Pitch a new story idea: "Today we're testing the handling of the new Dacia Duster by taking this fully optioned test car here on a special course around, and through, Stonehenge. What could go wrong?"
