What's going on with itch.io?

Anyone else getting LOADS of 'book marketer' emails that have clearly been written by AI at the moment? I seem to be receiving them every day.

A four panel comic titled Bird Sounds. In panel 1, labeled thrush, a wood thrush sings its beautiful eeohlay song against a forest background. In panel 2, labeled wren, a winter wren delicately sings tweedly tweedly tweedly. In panel 3, labeled warbler, a yellow warbler delicately sings sweet sweet. There's no point to this, just showing how indecisive I am.

The goblins have been on at me to be more active on social media. They make a good point that I can write as many silly little stories as I want, but if I don't tell anyone about them the only people reading 'em will be me, myself and I.

I didn't feel like writing this afternoon, but I gave it a go. As a result, "Portal Goblin" is another 1k words closer to the end. Those words may not be the best. They may not even make the final cut... but they still count as a win. Progress is progress!
