And thatβs a wrapβour audit matches perfectly!
Today we confirmed once again that the results we reported are accurate. RLAs are a rigorous, transparent, and efficient way to verify election outcomes, and weβre proud to complete another successful audit.π

Two people sit at a computer and discuss a paper ballot they're holding with audit software on the screen in front of them
Our bipartisan audit boards are now reviewing the selected ballots. They read the voterβs choices directly from the paper and enter them into the audit software to compare the paper record with how that ballot was originally counted.

Two people lean over a folder with ballot scans and an open ballot bin. Dozens of bins on tables are in the background with other bipartisan pairs looking for specific ballots in them.
Because we had more ballots returned than any other county, we have more ballots to look through to find our list, but it doesnβt necessarily mean we need to audit more ballots. The number of ballots we audit is based on how close the race was weβre auditing. Today weβre auditing 381 ballots.

Our first job is to track down each ballot randomly selected for todayβs audit. Every ballot gets a unique number when itβs scanned, so we can find that exact paper ballot again quickly and accurately.

Overvote = picking too many candidates in one race (those votes donβt count).
