not just in shadow / out of but some buttons with wonky shapes, some buttons with aa or absolutely none

really weird rendering from someone who seems to "spend so much time" on sweeping clean curves on all of their pictures, and who rendered the boots so lovely on the same pic as a melting jacket

for pixel artists and illustrators a leather boots and jacket piece is a fun exercise in using the same shiny bounce lighting effect throughout the composition
for this person the jacket and boots were totally different, and the jacket had consistency issues with the buttons from left side to right

the "wip" posts where they just take a small section of the already produced picture, and then color reduce it
but conveniently every single black pixel in the wip ends up in the exact same place as the final was pretty bad for me

but i also saw a piece where a character had leather boots + jacket

i had to scroll through like a dozen images for it to really become apparent
i try to follow a huge variety of skill levels of pixel art and i initially thought this was more of a digital illustrator getting into pixel restrictions / low colour palettes
but the "wip" posts are quite absurd

i use windows key for most alt tabbing situations these days due to confusion with games that trap your mouse cursor, games that put themselves back on top immediately

just take care of your recent documents
i'm not sure if the windows home menu would show up on your stream/obs though

what c# editor are you using? they might have fixed it for you if you're using something off the shelf / might be able to just submit a request on your editor's specific github now

but the company owns all of their work

it doesn't sound like it satisfies your request for the hard working artists at all ends of this process to get paid if only the company gets paid

it seems to me like there is an undercurrent there in the collaborative optimization artistry process where neither the original concept maker or the asset artists (model/texture/animation/audio) end up with i.p. of the end result

but the same is common across the industry, where when actual concept paintings/sketches are made by one artist, given to a different artist to render but also make deliberately, "game ready" aka purposefully change the design to remove detail

i have a deeply speculative (tinfoil hat )theory about how the industry handles concept art to early asset creation

but let me break it down to just this:
brian menze's name is (attributed here by fans) on the "securitron concept art" but that's just a turn-around of the finished model

and i got a hint from the blue tents only at a point that i had burned many hours and many resources on the more complicated ideas - right as i was just about to try the correct idea anyhow

but really, i've put too much time into blue prince trying to solve it hint-less and i should have been more willing to do a "co-op" style run or get some vague hints to expediate this process
i spent a large number of runs on the freezer thinking my placement of tiles was wrong by

i did my time with 15-20 days with a magnifier and the necklace, trying to really scope out everything that was unmagnified
i think a few of these items that you are allowed to place on the workbench as "incorrect craft" may have been better
if u could "try to craft + fail" &they would stay put down

and its just a little too frustrating to drop some of the more common items that would be nice to have as a bonus - or when you remember you have to bring a magnifying glass

like how the archives exist as one of the most negative rooms but they could have used the addition of a scrapbook to collect extraneous notes that lay around
or how ordering a book in the library? where the books - are. why not have the ordered book come to the entrance hall?

and also the pretty fun puzzle i solved today, grabbing a baron's bafflers paper, is just a screenshot. if a player puzzled that out but didn't screenshot it? or even lucked into it as something to think about early on, that's where i think a slightly larger amount of ingame auto note-taking

im just hitting the stretches where i've solved no item runs and item blocking runs and item spamming runs so many times that i wish i had a few ways to expediate the process of switching to a free inventory run vs a restricted inventory run

i understand its all intended design, and i'm meant to just drop my moonstone necklace combos and regrab them later when i don't need to solve metroidvania shovel puzzles

target the item saving necklace manually is becoming annoying as i am balancing an "elden ring style" group of puzzles to solve / check that i need a larger arrangement of items for, items that don't always interact with the workshop "dropping" mechanic

been particularly frustrated with the item system as of late, as i can take a specific set of 2/3 items to turn off the game, but then i can't pick anything up - or i can pick up items with elaborate plans to drop them later (this is engaging to a degree) but not being able to just bank 2 items or

i think it will be very interesting if this game gets a (spiritual) sequel / follow up and it builds on the same style of information hiding and mechanical depth, but takes in more feedback from a larger range of opinion and really tries to drill down to the core of that feedback
