Been one of those kinda days, this photograph I got at lunch time on South Bank says it all, reflective. Hug everyone you love tight. Smile more than frown.

It was a grey winter afternoon and Iโd been walking along Southbank with the intention of finding something to photograph. It was getting dark so I pointed my way towards Waterloo and a tube home, I loitered for a moment, and this image happened in front of me...

Join me in Charterhouse Square Wednesday 22nd January on a tour exploring centuries of protest and rebellion that has helped shape our society. Lets explore the streets of Clerkenwell and Smithfield, a magical place for all sorts of radicals and rebels.

11.01.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Absolutely agree, when itโs ear aching itโs at its best, mind you a few months back I was swimming off one of the chimes and getting a little suntan ๐งด
11.01.2025 16:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Thatโs a lovely part of the world, the view down toward Sandbanks and Harryโs Rock just one of the best, that light makes me want to go right now. Bet it was cold.

11.01.2025 11:03 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0These guys are queuing up to sell anything they can to the new boys. Itโs such a sham. The nattering of the elites choosing who to side with: obviously anyone with piles of cash. And of course aired through the most morally vacant newspaper you can find.
11.01.2025 11:00 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0weโre looking at the black leather backseat of a car where a dog is supposed to be riding. a great dane puppyโs head is nestled in between the head rests on the left and middle, facing forward. his booty and back legs dangle from between the head rests on the middle and right. there is no sign of his body or front limbs. we hope theyโre in the trunk area, but weโre actually not 100% confident this is a single dog.
This is Howard. He couldn't decide where to sit. Wound up in two places at once and may require some assistance. 13/10

The palm burning brightly above the dismal meaningless things money can buy. But the thing is, money aint saving you from shit like this, money in fact has helped create this.

07.01.2025 10:46 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Strange that the UK creative industries are all absolutely stuffed in the UK at the moment, no work, no nothing and Labour come up with this AI rubbish, like read the bloody room lads, theres so little work help us please, dont go suddenly on board with one of the very things destroying the industry
06.01.2025 19:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A few streets down from the famous Pudding Lane where the Great Fire began in 1666 you come across a narrow cobbled street called Lovat Lane. It descends steeply down towards the Thames and the old market building of Billingsgate...

I couldnโt agree more the first series was a masterful balance of storytelling and history. This is a bad channel 5 take on the first one.

31.12.2024 11:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0After a year of study I graduated and have my golden key to the city. I cant thank enough Jon Wright my mentor who helped me follow 'the brief' and keep stories and themes concise and above all entertaining. A great London guide and one I aspire to.
31.12.2024 11:46 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This has led to one of the most rewarding things I've done which is look at new ways to earn a living and explore the things that most interest and stimulate me. So beginning of 2024 I started training as a history walking guide here in London.
31.12.2024 11:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0In a sober thought, I feel I am witnessing the slow decline of TV and Film in the UK, so many great professionals unable to find lasting employment. Hope it improves in the New Year, but like many industries, it feels uncertain.
31.12.2024 11:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Also its been marvellous to continue as a mentor with If Not Us Then Who and help some amazing creators and storytellers from around the world. Their stories and energies constantly give me a sense of promise and energy. Here's to working with them all into 2025.
