The rise of the far right is worrying. Their manipulative use of social media amplifies the hatred and division on which they thrive. Their use of dis-information and hijacking of social media sometimes feels unstoppable. The best way to counter this is to campaign for and deliver the socialist policies in which we believe. We need to do our jobs as progressive politicians, tackle inequality, stand up for those who are vulnerable, and be open, honest, and humane.

Putting a monetary value on raising the kids, cooking and cleaning means it is measured/valued in GDP. So called “invisible” work is slavery. It is far more difficult to be a successful business person if you have to also bring up the kids and do the housework.
