Bush’s letter feels like it came from another planet - one where political rivals were still countrymen, not enemies. The ink is only 32 years old, but the sentiment might as well be from a century ago.

Great win by the Lions. However, people need to lay off Manu. He was playing in his first regular season game as a Left Tackle against Trey Hendrickson. He did a decent job, and half the sacks were misses by other players, such as Brock Wright. Give the kid time, he’ll get better.
