V2com Portable Touchscreen L2 V2COM

Ha, it is rather cute. It's the V2com L2 13" which I got here in Amman, Jordan (I think it's imported from UAE). Just a USB-C connection that both powers and connects it (plug-and-play). Touch setup nice and easy through Windows Control Panel 'Tablet PC Settings'.

Working perfectly now on all my screens (touch and non-touch, with pointer as well as touch). Thanks, Matt.

Same. I just realised that VidGrid on touchscreens (and even non-touch external/extended displays) doesn't show the toolbar when working with mouse/pointer but displays it when touched.

During most of the vast history of humanity, technologies have evolved gradually, not through leaps of genius, but slow cultural adaption.

Before the scientific method, easy communication & printed books, innovation happened at the level of societies, not people. www2.psych.ubc.ca/~henrich/pdf...

Opinion | Letโ€™s Shake Up the Social Sciences (Published 2013) It is time to create new social science departments that reflect the breadth and complexity of the problems we face as well as the novelty of 21st-century science.

โ€œTWENTY-FIVE years ago, there were departments of natural science that no longer exist today. Departments of anatomy, histology, biochemistry and physiology have disappeared, replaced by innovative departments of stem-cell biology, systems biology, neurobiology and molecular biophysics.โ€

Disbelief: The Origins of Atheism in a Religious Species

Hi all ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m a cultural & evolutionary scientist obsessed with 2 ideas:

1) humans are the only species with religion
2) within our religious species, atheism comes naturally

I wrote a book on that, hereโ€™s a short ๐Ÿงต with some fun book tidbits. Enjoy & share!

the trend towards monopoly and corruption also explains the hostility to liberalism. the thing about liberal neutrality is that it is an obstacle to the kind of patronage relationships that are facilitated by corruption.
