That justplainbob from over there. Retired Minnesotan who abides in Stately Moffitt Manor with Mrs. Lungs.

You can see the level of fear in the GOP by the fact they are again pushing the SAVE Act, a bill specifically written to disenfranchise female voters. They hope they can pass it in time to supress the vote in November.

*Don't worry, she's happily married to a great guy, and Mrs. Lungs thinks she's great, too.
How did I get so old and never heard of Lundi Gras until today?
16.02.2026 12:49 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Good idea. More people recognize me from the Calvin avatar (I used it in the Bad Place, too) than my actual face, which just a very few folks on this site have actually seen.

My obit is already drafted and on file at the funeral home, BTW.
Fuck it.
Even Tots with "hard plastic bits" is 100% better than most things I put in my mouth, and that is no lie.
All the Hy-Vee employees at the cafe were buying all the deeply discounted Valentine's Day merch today. I would have too, but I don't like Rice Krispie bars as much as they do.

My old favorite, Tan Tan Ramen, was no longer listed. The chicken stir fry noodles I ordered where fine, but I missed the spicy heat of the old Tan Tan.
Things at the dollar stores haven't been $1 for some time. But color me surprised when I saw that almost everything at a store in Coon Rapids had jumped from $1.25 to $1.50 overnight.

At least, I hope that's what happens.
My favorite PBS music program! 😉

I never met her, but one look at that great photo of her and the dog makes me I wish I had.
Strib business columnist Evan Ramstad has been sounding more and more like a human being lately, and less like the WSJ drone he used to be.
