Boycott feels like an overly strong word used for such a trivial thing. I don't "boycott" video games, I just don't buy them when I'm uninterested.

There are far more evil and damaging corporations to actually boycott.

Essentially you'd just need a Tampermonkey script that activates on a specific URL, grab the HTML component you want gone, and just delete it. There's usually a couple of ways a specific component identifies itself, and it's easy to find out via F12 inspector. I'll have more time later to help.

And if you're really dedicated, there are 3D printing enthusiasts who have created and shared devices to cut plastic bottles into filament. I want a 3D printer but my limiter is space :') .

Not a fan of the reporting on the latest Windows update breaking SSDs. Every article sources one document from a Twitter user in Japan who tested 21 SSDs. Not to discredit their work, they may have found a bug. But the lack of reproducibility undermines the apocalyptic tone journalists are adopting.

if your apartment has an AC port, you could consider getting a portable AC unit. We got one recently and it's helped a lot. You can set a timer so it only needs to run just long enough to help you fall asleep.
