Battle report production can sometimes feel like a lonely struggle. I might have to take a break so I can get some hobby stuff done.

Should I finish editing the next battle report? Should I finish painting my current army?
Or should I just start printing models for a completely different army???

Despite some technical difficulties (Audacity repeatedly crashing, requiring me to install something else), I managed to voice record the scripts for not one but two of my upcoming battle reports!

The right looks more of an artistic packaging. The left seems to be an
attempt to make the design ubiquitous with a product logo that's not just the font.
Personally, I prefer the right.

Every time I do a battle report, I dread having to think of the background fluff to justify why two grown adults are making armies of toy soldiers fight. Yet I feel it's something that gives my channel a soul.

A bunch of miniatures, including a mix of sci fi infantry and battle suits primed and ready to paint.

I feel this post is misleading people's likes because I'm saying I've stopped using clear acrylic bases.

But I don't actually care. I'd much rather point your attention to my channel!

I think it would be alright in small numbers, like Kill Team or some other Skirmishes, or player characters for DnD.
I found taking a whole army of minis in and out from a box with physical slots quite exhausting.

Thank you. But the point I'm making is that although it's nice looking with seemingly less upfront effort, it has it's downsides and I've learnt to prefer traditional basing.

Marines on textured bases.

The entire army in a box to be transported. The mini bases have magnetic strips that would attatch to the sheet magnet lined on the bottom of the box.

But clear acrylic bases are fiddly to stick on minis because the only way to do it is by using superglue that could easily cloud the base.

Also in large numbers transport can be a nightmare, which is why I reverted to traditional bases that can be magnetized.

Space Marines on clear acrylic bases. Acrylic bases blend with any terrain board and requires no painting. But I found they are hard to stick models onto since superglue is the only option and it can cloud the clear base.

I don't like to spend much effort in miniature bases. So I tried clear acrylic bases, but after a while I switched to textured bases.

Clear bases are great because they blend with any terrain board, and no painting needed.

I think jacket potato is the worst of British cuisine.
And it boils down (no pun intended, it's baked anyway) to the laziness of the potato just being baked as is.
Cut it up and roast it or mash it, it'd make a world of difference!
