For the first CC of 2026 let's ask a very important question: What was the first actual warhammer in all of Warhammer 40k?

Anyway, welcome to a small preview of what it's like in my brain when I come into possession of some Imperial Robot minis.
03.02.2026 10:44 β π 26 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0None of this matters since they'll probably never be used in a game, I just want them to be consistent for display and making bases technically smaller by going from square to round feels a little strange to me.
I'll probably just put them on 40mm round bases and trust that feeling will pass.
I feel like the ideal thing would be a 45mm base. But those don't exist in GW land.
Is... is this how GW ended up making the kinda pointless 28.5mm base? Someone thought a Mini was a smidge too big for 25mm but didn't feel quite right on a 32? And now we all have to deal with their indecision?
So do we go to 50mm round? Feels a bit too big for most of the versions of the mini, but one of them looks great on it.
How about other minis with modern equivalents that were on that base size back in the day? Well things like dreads ended up on 60mm bases, but that waaaay too big.
So here a thing: if you have Rogue Trader mini that doesn't have a modern equivalent and was based on a 40mm square base, how should it be based if you want it to look modern?
A 40mm round base is the obvious choice, but that's actually quite a bit smaller in surface area than the original.
a graphic stylised like the Cheers sitcom logo - but it reads 'Aye Cheers'
Thinking about just using this when the 90th person in my comments tells me I missed the chance to make an 'obvious joke' in a video.
02.02.2026 12:43 β π 72 π 7 π¬ 2 π 0Also: yes, the goblin (who I assume is the one named Slopo) is entirely naked whilst riding that dinosaur. Which I assume would chafe a bit and may explain his expression.
02.02.2026 14:49 β π 38 π 2 π¬ 5 π 0I miniature of a goblin riding a dinosaur.
Gave a quick paint job to this pair I picked up at Wargames Foundry during Bring Out Your Lead last year.
Their name is βSlopoβ apparently, and theyβre mini number 4 for 2026.

Painted up this not-quite-saturnine 3D print as a Crimson Fist. Interesting to see other peopleβs takes on a modernised early Terminator.
3rd mini of 2026.
It's absolutely got some more eyes on the channel so that's the hope!
01.02.2026 13:04 β π 14 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0a squig painted so that it resembles a toothy testicle.
Are we honour-bound to actually make the truck nuts video now? I don't know. Would that be taking the joke too far, or just to its natural conclusion? I also do not know this.
What I do know is that this scrotal squig is astonishingly powerful.
Okay so not only has the ballsack squig video continued to pull in silly numbers, but the video talking about it has also done pretty damn well.
Meaning that yesterday did indeed break the 'views in a day' record. By quite a lot. As in it was 95k and now its 173k.
I⦠did not know that.
Huh.
We're playing some Visage over on Twitch! Come and witness us getting spooked!

I wish I knew how to actually harness this power for regular videos lol
31.01.2026 18:42 β π 47 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0the video of us making a joke about a video doing better than our regular videos that is, itself, doing better than our regular videos.
OH COME ON
31.01.2026 18:40 β π 91 π 0 π¬ 10 π 0Hell, grots were hanging nuts off themselves from day one!
31.01.2026 18:20 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0having a minor existential crisis over something doing well on youtube. don't worry about it.

I'm 39... I very much remember it hah
31.01.2026 14:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Oh absolutely. I think 2026 might be the year of 'hiding the squig in every video' like that year we hit the weird alien cactus in every video to see if anyone would notice.
Nobody did lol
Sin.
31.01.2026 14:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think one of the things that made me lose steam with it was I peaked too early. Everything felt less interesting once I'd made the nutsquig.
31.01.2026 14:15 β π 11 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The Codex Compliant that came out a few days ago, y'know the series that actually pays the bills, underperformed wildly, by the way.
What are you trying to tell me, YouTube?
Just casually getting the most views in a single day the channel has ever got. Based mostly on a mini that looks like a ballsack.
31.01.2026 14:10 β π 40 π 0 π¬ 4 π 0Jesus fucking Christ do people love the testicle squig.
31.01.2026 14:08 β π 111 π 8 π¬ 7 π 0Honestly his design is so generic it kinda loops around for me and I almost dig it. Not enough to buy him or anything though.
He's just like... a guy. Could be a remake of any one of a dozen knock-off transformer toy lines from the 80s.
Huh, I hadn't been keeping up with the Primes toys but I kinda just assumed they'd do the Loki-looking design for Liege Maximo.
On account of it being the much better design that's been used way more than the G2 one.
I approve of the novelty... but not sure it was worth it.
