07.10.2025 16:43 β π 25 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I mean... fair enough, I suppose.
07.10.2025 16:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I didn't know that was hers. So I have heard one song by her then, just not knowingly.
07.10.2025 16:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I present this fact plainly, and it is up to the reader to come to whatever conclusions they wish about the movement in question.
07.10.2025 16:38 β π 29 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0The main person behind putting up England flags in Derby recently represented their cause with a TikTok screenshot of the Silver Surfer photoshopped to have a flag on him. But it wasn't the St. George's Cross, it was the flag for the country of Georgia.
Which is very much not the same flag.
I say all this to prepare you in case I suddenly have Taylor Swift opinions and the Swifties kidnap me and my body is found with a bag over my head and a bullet lodged in my brain case.
07.10.2025 16:25 β π 26 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh ditto. Quickest way to get me to have no interest in something is to have everyone tell me it's amazing and I need to try it haha
07.10.2025 16:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It should be noted that I have never knowingly heard a Taylor Swift song, not out of antipathy, it's just not the sort of thing I listen to. I recently found out that the one I thought I had heard was not actually by her.
She is just a bit of pop culture that is an utter mystery to me.
I have this thing where, if I hear something I wouldn't normally care about is particularly terrible, I will want to seek it out.
Hearing that the new Taylor Swift album kinda sucks makes me deeply curious about it.
Why is my brain like this?
I mean, yes, it's true that posting through it has never really worked out for anyone else, it's just made things worse, but I think the Bluesky team can make it work.
07.10.2025 15:58 β π 31 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0In my opinion, they aren't even playing snakes and ladders.
07.10.2025 15:55 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I feel like the time for fumbling the good will of the userbase of your social media platform is AFTER you've got a solid way of making a profit off it, not before.
But what do I know?
Oh yeah it's great what you can get with it. Comparing the same bit with the same settings with regular resin I could only *just* tell the difference but it's so minor that it's, as I said, negligible. And once there's paint on it I'd never be able to tell the difference.
07.10.2025 01:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Considering how fried the minds of people who grew up on the pre-AI internet are... I don't foresee good things.
07.10.2025 01:10 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I did once make a guy on Twitter mad for several hours by insisting that words in a sentence can go in any order and it still make sense.
So on some level... I can't be too mad about it.
"recommended to me it"?
God I shouldn't post at half one in the morning. Brain is not operating correctly.
I don't mention this to promote Elegoo's resins (I am sure other brands versions are also good), but to let anyone else who's just starting with resin printing know it's worth giving ABS-like resin a shot.
Also that the people who recommended to me it are allowed to say 'I told you so'.
Oh! Meant to mention that Elegoo sent us some more resin and it was the stronger ABS-like stuff.
I am converted. I fully get why so many people recommended that stuff for wargaming minis. Negligible detail loss for more resilience is an easy trade.
Exactly!
Not only is it denying yourself that satisfaction, but I love when a video means I need to research into something I'm unfamiliar with! I have learned so much weird and fun shit due to it!
Once I noticed it I checked the next thing said that seemed fishy and it did, in fact, turn out to be incorrect.
The future is so fucking tedious.
Just watched a video where it was pretty obvious from the waffling tone around certain subjects that the person had used AI to write at least some parts.
Which had the fun effect of making me assume they were wrong about everything they said in the video. So everyone's time is wasted. Cool.
I will be honest, it has shiny varnish on it so plenty of it is just authentic reflections hah
07.10.2025 00:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Which is both a lesson in being more careful about what you post publicly online (especially if you're going to fuck around), and evidence that Snipe is a persistence predator.
06.10.2025 22:22 β π 40 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0One of @snipethesorrow.bsky.social's underutilised but more terrifying skills is hearing about some local racist or what have you in the news, and, after some Googling, is then able to tell you a truly terrifying amount of details about their life.
06.10.2025 22:22 β π 51 π 4 π¬ 2 π 0Y'know I'd never really thought about it that way but yeah, Evil Sunz are basically a personal attack on red-green colourblind people.

A small painted miniature of a power armoured soldier.
For the final mini Iβve painted that I forgot to post: this little guy from the 3D printing video.
I think it says something about how my brain works that I decided to try a non-metallic metal sword for the first time on a miniature thatβs like 18mm tall.
Thank you :)
06.10.2025 18:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Although realistically what this will probably mean is it'll be a lot of 80s Citadel minis with anything I can't be arsed to pay silly secondary market prices for made on our 3D printer.
Maybe some 2nd ed Orks if I feel fancy.
