[Adventures in Ishralghr: Tanooki Suit Rook + Cross]

A recent occurance in the Ishralghr D&D campaign had Cross, by pure chance, take on the powers of the Tanooki suit. I had plenty of fun with it so I had to draw the two looks he had. The crown is a trophy of combat, by the by.

This establishing shot has been seen before, however this time it's different, as the location is bathed in the red and orange hues of sunset, indicating the passage of time between the earlier pages to now. Silhouettes can be vaguley seen on a circular viewing platform of Galem, Vivian, Mar, Wyck, Kaz, and Bree. Kaz and Bree are floating on a broomstick, presumably landing. Panel 2: Bree is in the foreground stretching with a smile. She says: "Ah, it's good to be back at campus! Thanks for the lift, girls!" Kaz, who is in the midground, smiles back and replies "No prob!", she is standing on the ground, with her broomstick held vertically in one hand. Mar's head is vivible in the farthest foreground, closest to the viewer. His eyes are depicted as disoriented swirls as he groans "I think the Goblin's flying gave me motion sickness." Galem & Vivian are stood side by side in the background smiling and watching them.

Panel 3: The frame zooms in to just Galem and Vivian. Vivian smiles and says "What a day, I'm glad we did this!" Galem smiles back and replies "Me too!" Panel 4: The scene shows both Bree and Wyck in the foreground using magic to produce small flames that hover between their hands. Wyck's back is to the camera, but Bree is visible from the front in this scene and she has a big smile on her face. Meanwhile Kaz and Mar are in the background. Kaz's Dragon Familiar, Celdrann, is hovering over Mar's hand and looking down at him. Mar seems to be looking at Celdrann with keen academic interest. Kaz is smiling. Galem is voicing over this scene of friendly interactions from off panel and says "and it seems like everyone else is getting along! I'm glad we could all help your coven today.

Panel 5: Galem and Vivian turn their backs to the crowd and the camera to lean on the stone guardrail along the viewing platform and look at the sunset passing below the mountains in the distance. Galem continues: "I couldn't ask for a more perfect day. Even if your coven head scares the bejeezus out of me." Panel 6: A closeup shot of Galem and Vivian as they continue talking. They are both shaded and bathed in sunset lighing. Galem looks lovingly down towards Vivian as she looks up towards him and replies: "Yeah, he's a little intense, but give him time to warm up to you and we should be okay in the long run." She continues "He doesn't visit my cottage much since it's outside coven grounds..."

Panel 7: The scene zooms out to a side view of Galem and Vivian holding each other's hands as they look into each other's eyes. Vivian continues her sentence at the end of Panel 6 with "...So you'll still come visit me often, right?" Galem smiles and replies "Of couse. Nothing could keep me from you for long" Panel 8: There is no dialogue. Galem and Vivian pull each other into a loving embrace and share a deep, passionate kiss. The background lighting from the sunset is exaggerated to accentuate the beauty of their love.
