沙羅曼蛇IIIのステージ1ボスを見た時にフラッグ先生のビッグコアが思いついた ❤

A panel from The Defenders (1972) #13, by Len Wein and Sal Buscema. The narration reads: "And when the brilliance faded, we four were no longer ALONE. Before us stood a being so AWESOME, he seemed not so much HUMAN as he did HEAVEN in the shape of a MAN. And he spoke in a voice like the ringing of a thousand crystal GONGS..." The awesome being is a man with luxurious long white hair, bright yellow skin with a seemingly metallic sheen, and blank white eyes with a lot of eye liner around. He's wearing a navel-deep V-neck leotard that appears to contain the cosmos. Snarling beautifully, he demands: "Who summons NEBULON? Who calls THE CELESTIAL MAN from the place beyond the sky?"

Never seen this character before, but Nebulon for Tōkon.

I've only played Curse Crackers (For Whom the Belle Toils), but I'm eager to start Prodigal as well. I love all the little OCs who only have an idle animation and two lines, but you can sense there's more to them in the creator's mind. Endlessly fascinated by Shroomella, the mushroom witch. 🍄

A page from the October 1991 issue of Gamest magazine—the all Street Fighter II special issue. Most of the page is taken up by an illustration of Sagat. His pose is difficult to describe, but he's standing on the ball of one foot, and his opposite leg is raised high, crossing over his upper body, which is reclined almost horizontally. Both his fists are clenched, with one arm out to the side; the arm opposite his raised leg is raised above his head. It's a memorably distinct display~ Unfortunately, it's not recognisable as the work of any specific Capcom artist, and the 2003 artbook, Street Fighter Eternal Challenge, only credits it to "Development Staff." So the artist is unknown.

I thought the win pose in Sagat's trailer looked interesting, and then I realised it looked familiar... In fact, it's referencing this illustration from the first version of Street Fighter II. ❤

A joint ad for TMNT TF and Vampire Killer, from the 1993/12 issue of Beep! Mega Drive. 「カメば、噛むほど」 "Kameba, kamuhodo" is a common expression meaning "The more you chew, the better it tastes." "Kame" can also mean "turtle," and "kamu" also means "bite," like a vampire bites. That Konami wordplay. ❤
