Although the battle victory animation and music is very clearly Persona inspired- not quite the same vibe as the rest of the game but it works

Playing FFTactics is at best a paramilitary management sim. I've played roughly 30 hours. 27 of them were spent in menus and starting a fight over 20 minutes deep bc my healer died and FUCK YOU if you think I'm gonna take the time to train another Orator.
It is the single best FF game ever made.

Playing FF Tactics for the first time? Here’s a tip. Go to Mandalia Plain. You’re gonna spend 5 miserable hours having all your characters power up like goku next to a terrified bird or have them throw rocks at each other until they’re max level. This is the best game ever made btw.

Peacemaker raise d the bar pretty high for the Lanterns opening sequence. Like I’m not saying they need a dance number but it needs to be better than your stand Netflix skippable intro
