Beloit, WI revitalized its waterfront and chose this way to celebrate it: by bringing to life Georges Seurat's "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte."

Aerial view of the incredible reliefs that can be found on the Colorado plateau, in this case in central Utah. The hills forms a maze of reliefs, with on the left the factory butte, on the right the caineville Mesa, and a mountain in background (can’t recall the name of it). The all illuminated by day spotlight filtering through the clouds…
The amazing reliefs of Factory Butte captured from above…

The whole point of buying the books you are giving to people for Christmas in a bookshop and not online on Amazon is not only to support the bookshop but to accidentally find a number of books you don’t have time for yet feel obliged to buy and take home with you anyway because they are wonderful.

Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.
