The President, on the other hand, is convinced the countries pay, and because he believes he's a genius, no one can convince him he's wrong.

I believe if a country is willing to grease his palm for some leniency, he'd accept it, but the whole tariff thing is just Trump not understanding basic economics. He doesn't understand trade gaps or how tariffs work, and he's impervious to correction. He believes the country is getting rich.

He thinks tariffs are a way to get free money from other countries.

This "clean coal" nonsense is just...look, there's just dirty, and extra dirty. There's nothing clean about it.

My favorite bit is when he’s named First Star at Ball Arena, and the ensuing interview is just bland sports idioms. Every time. Just no desire to say anything remotely interesting.

on the balance i think partisan gerrymandering is bad but the only way it ends is if democrats weaponize it against republicans everywhere they can. wiping out republican lawmakers in blue states might bring the GOP to the table to end the practice.
