I think my son is at my favorite age so far (he's 8) -- my daughters are 4 and 6. They fight constantly. LoL I'm hopeful they grow out of that soon.

It’s random, but sometimes I sit and think about what made me fall in love with art while I’m drawing with my kids. It’s the same for them as it was for me — getting a really cool story out of my head and onto the page with pictures. I’m glad I get to guide THEM through that now. It’s awesome.

Maybe it's a BOTH question? If we spent more time on art/humanities/critical thinking in school instead of STEM? Or talked more about these things publicly so we could really encourage people to THINK? Because appreciation and creation both involve using the noggin'...

Question: How can we use art/creativity to turn shit around in the world? How can we encourage people to CREATE something that makes the world a more beautiful, healthy place for generations to come? What's domino that starts the vibe shift? Genuinely curious about what we can all do to HELP things.

Please elaborate.

If I have one tiny bit of advice for artists:

Trace custom reference pictures of your hands. It's okay. Just trace it. You don't have to be the master of hands. Stop struggling with that one pose for an hour and be kind to yourself. You'll learn and improve as you do it too.
