And, so I ventured into the color-laden world of the artist. Prints and etchings indoors and statues getting splashed on by the cold sky-tossed droplets out in the fields. Art makes one think ...art has such intrinsic value. It can help us refocus our state of mind.

I learned to dive right in ... grab a cookbook (NYT is a good choice) and get cooking

A week of comfort food continues with a Greek inspired tuna steak in a tomato sauce with garlic oregano mushrooms and asparagus with a creamy lemon thyme sour cream butter sauce. I now have used up the asparagus and mushrooms lol...

So, where are your fellow Democrats.. those in the Senate and the House ... why are they quiet?

We stepped up … because we believe in the democracy established in Philadelphia in 1776. We stepped up because we oppose tyranny and because we truly value ALL of our neighbors believing in having a government that cares for those who need to be cared for.

This quote carries power … it is a reminder about life. We cannot allow ourselves the disappointment of not embracing our happiness … “this moment is (y)our life.”

We all know how self rewarding it is to look up and see the colors of the spectrum... we are quick to call out with joy 'Look there's a rainbow 🌈 & then to take its picture." I hope we all can find one today.

Sometimes we desperately need comfort food ... tomato rice, asparagus in a lemon sauce and chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms, sharp cheddar, and peppers (jalapeno and sweet orange) in a pepper sauce

A mushroom asparagus omelette kind of day but we are overdue to bring back positivity to this world and push aside the negatives! Be that person who makes someone in your life happier today because they share the day with you!!

We are celebrating our international friends during the next few weeks of IN THE KITCHEN! Today we made 'British Apple Cake,' which is an easy recipe the kids can help with resulting in a tasty and beautiful looking bake.

Believe me it wears on the soul but remaining silent is not an option. I still have a "pulpit" and I surprisingly have people even on the other side who pay attention. Stay well and strong!

A Monday morning connection with my friend Kevin reminded me of our OLD age realities ... cup of coffee and a handful of pills. Thank goodness we are still moving and dreaming ... knock on wood.

My job takes me to many places and I meet with many people. I recently sat in a plastic chair waiting to provide answers or something useful to a person who is not currently free You notice things in those moments.
