Which, bonus, will replace a mushy “New Democrat” centrist still looking to compromise with someone who understands the danger of fascism and the need for a diversity of tactics to fight it.

I was in a group discussing how to get more women to study computer science, when I had a similar experience.

Me and THE other woman there did not like the old campaigns, and a guy went “but you are not real women”!!!!

There is nothing that gets my red flag meter going quite like men saying things like "it was hard meeting women because I was interested in (insert nerdy thing here)" when I have distinct memories of certain kinds of men in nerdy thing specifically and repeatedly excluding me from nerdy thing.
