We don’t need “symbolic gestures”, w/o actual strategy.

Jill Andrew, Patrice Barnes, and Sarah Jama — three Black women MPPs — lost their seats. Marjorie Knight, Gemma Grey-Hall, Aderonke Daramola, Mohamed Firin, Kojo Damptey, and Faisal Hassan also lost.

The only remaining Black MPPs are Andrea Hazell (L), David Smith, and Charmaine Williams (PC).

Just imagine that after the last four weeks of campaigning, the only gain your party made was to defeat a Black woman who your party tried to destroy for supporting Palestine. Incredible stuff from the ONDP.

There's a problem with automating everything. The machines can't buy the goods that people are making or selling, and the more people we put out of work 'to save money', the fewer people can afford to make purchases.
Shouting 'parasites' at people thrown out of work is never helpful.

The employment dilemma for so many people right now:

a) Finally get a job.
b) Get thrown out of the job for using words like 'diversity'.
c) Get shouted at for being 'parasites who rely on the state' and told to....get a job.
d) Find there's few jobs as things are now automated/AI.

and repeat.

It would be a shame to encourage folks to use banned book lists to do strange things like
-check them out regularly at the library
-request the library order them if they don’t have them
-buy them
-start or support banned book clubs
-organize a banned book kids story time
A real shame
