When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.

New York protects gender identity in its constitution as voted by the people. The feds requiring entities in New York to discriminate against trans people are requiring them to break New York law. While the relevant laws are statutes, the NY Constitution requires the state to prevent discrimination.

Where do the legal cases against Trump's executive orders stand? Donald Trump's flurry of executive orders has sparked lawsuits seeking to stymie the U.S. president's plans for cracking down on immigration, shaking up the federal bureaucracy and reversing protections for transgender people.

Hot take: the little teeny tiny 1% of the population that’s trans clearly has amassed a disproportionately large amount of power and influence. Why else would they be coming at us so hard. Hold your power people. Own it. ✊🏳️‍⚧️

Just to re-cap. The Project 2025 agenda is a roadmap for what has happened and what is still to come.

So far they have 1) Infiltrated and created chaos in the federal government, 2) rolled back LGBTQ+ rights and DEI, 3)halted all immigration, and 4) vastly overreached with executive power.

Thank you for being outraged! I am thankful you are now our representative (we moved here to avoid this exact issue). Please don’t stop shouting for us and our kids. We need every voice. 🏳️‍⚧️

Insults about: Character, such as cowardice, dishonesty, criminality, and sexual promiscuity or immorality. Mental characteristics, including but not limited to accusations of stupidity, intellectual capacity, and mental illness, as well as unsupported comparisons among politically correct (PC) groups based on inherent intellectual traits. 2. Highlighted section: The document allows allegations of mental illness or abnormality when tied to gender or sexual orientation, referencing political and religious discourse about transgenderism and homosexuality. It also acknowledges the non-serious use of terms like "weird."

Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.
