Bank Rate maintained at 3.75% - February 2026 Monetary Policy Summary and Minutes The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee is responsible for making decisions about Bank Rate.

The Bank of England held their monetary policy meeting this week.

They narrowly voted to maintain interest rates at 3.75%, voting 5 to 4. The 4 wanted to reduce them to 3.5%.

It may happen at the next meeting in March.

They also think that inflation should fall to around the 2% target in April.
