Today's sights...dry weather persists though we had light showers today. Bees are foraging goldenrod. Many wildflowers are still putting on a show.

100%...anything you can put on a pancake or waffle is better on a proper cat head biscuit, including chicken and honey. To our northern friends proper biscuits are not the whomp kind that come from a can!!

Looking upriver into tannic water covered in leaves. There are some tremendous roots and log remnants that are normally submerged and serve as hiding places. The canopy of trees is still green.

A decades old stump in tannic water. It is dark brown and has amazing texture. The sky reflects in the dark brown water.

Dry weather continues in my part of earth. I've never seen the creek this low. Some very cool and old tree remnants that serve as hiding places for the smallest inhabitants.
