It probably depends on the gifted program. I don't know what yours looks like or what they look like in NYC.

In my area it's a 1x/week STEM based "special". Gifted kids are still stuck at the same pace and bored. The non-gifted kids who would THRIVE in a STEM/creativity based special can't do it.

The real generational divide is people who refuse to watch a video if it could be an article versus people who refuse to read an article if it could be a video
