Took me over a decade, but today I finally finished reading my 3rd round of Lord of the Rings!!

Next I’ll be starting Neuromancer.

And once I’ve finished audio-reading the latter half of “Pillars of the Earth,” I’ll be doing LotR *again* with the Andy Serkis narration. I’m super excited for that!

I got my turntable when I was 16. Black Sabbath’s Paranoid was the first album I bought. Throwing it on tonight. RIP Prince of Darkness 🤘

How I’m spending my Super Bowl Sunday:

The Burn(...ham, lol) was dumb, and its cause was kinda ripped from TNG's Future Imperfect.
I actually found myself enjoying a good chunk of Discovery Season 5, flaws and all. Shame it took the finale for the show to finally find some footing.

I've always said Star Trek is practically my bible - classic testament preferred. It's my own set of stories that's morally guided me and resonated with me better than any religion ever did, personally, and I try to be a better person per its examples.

I do staunchly dislike "Section 31," and I've wanted Kurtzman out since Discovery S2. I'm allowed those opinions...but harassment and d3^t# threats to anyone over something as trivial as my favorite piece of media is petty, and is antithetic as to why I like Star Trek.
