My PPG Season 2 video will be 5 hours and 45 seconds. Just finished editing the last episode, now to format everything, add music, and do the final touch-ups.

For the record, I am okay. Other friends of mine affected by this are not. I feel for them more than my own at the moment.

Since I know some will ask: Yes, Pieguy and I are still friends, this has nothing to do with him.

I just needed to vent my frustrations out to the void for a moment here.

I'll never understand how somebody can be so willing to just throw away years of friendship for no rational reason at all.

Like you invested all this time into this bond and you're just willing throw it away like it meant nothing this whole time?

Still hard at work on it; doesn't look like it'll be done before the end of this month so it's probably going to release in September at this rate.

Redesigned my avatar's hairstyle today, excited to show it off in the upcoming season 2 review!

Feel the same way, it just feels like something's gotta give. Don't know how we long can keep going like this.

Trying to get better at walking every day like I did last year, so I went for a walk this morning for about 25 mins and did some brainstorming.

I figured out how I'd want to cover a video game franchise in the future, if/when those videos ever happen, so that's neat.

Went to bed last night saying "I'm going to record a bunch of audio for my next video tomorrow" and lo and behold I woke up with a cold... never fails lol.

Man, I really wish I had more time so I could get videos done faster--it does suck that I've got so much going on in life between my job and home life that I can't work on videos as much as I used to... and I don't even have kids!

Given I barely have enough time in life as it is, my time to enjoy media is limited, so I'm already making an effort to only seek out things I would enjoy anyways.

The AI thing would just make it easier because there'd be less media I'd have to choose from.

There's movies dating back to the 60s I've been meaning to watch; discographies of bands from my childhood I've never listened to beyond their big hits; hundreds of TV shows that have already been made (cartoons, anime, and live action alike), and don't even get me started on my video game backlog.

You know, the one positive about companies replacing real human art with AI slop is that I will make an effort to avoid it completely in favor of media I missed during my first almost-30 years of life.

I've got decades of movies, shows, music, and games to keep me busy for the rest of my life.

I've rewatched it myself a few times too, no shame in that haha!

So what exactly do these big pro-AI companies think will happen when everybody's jobs are eliminated by shitty AI and then nobody can work and therefore no consumers can buy their products because nobody has money to spend and so they stop making money?

Having another one of those "time is moving faster than my brain can process" moments again lol--2010 was 15 years ago wtf.

Unfortunately I don't know myself, when I set it up I ran it through Windows so I can't speak on behalf of a different OS, sorry!

Most likely Powerpuff Season 2--work got in the way this past month and set me farther back than I wanted, so I'm kicking it into high gear in May!

I am a very happy man today.

Yeah Sony exclusives were keeping me on my PS5 as well but now that they're releasing on Steam I have no incentive to stay on the console, especially because all my friends are on PC anyways.

Switch 2 will probably be the only console I own for the next generation at this rate!

If I want to buy every game on my list at their lowest ever sale price (as of today), that's 230 games that'll cost me about $4200.

Welp, guess it's gonna take a while for me to be able to afford them all LMAO. At least it's better than if I bought them all at retail price ($9700) though lol.

I've been having trouble focusing on doing a lot of things lately--brain fog and all that--so I took it upon myself today to go through and update my Steam wishlist, then I made a spreadsheet of every game on it and how much they cost as well as their lowest ever sale price.

I've been thinking about migrating from PS5 to PC gaming completely. I've barely touched my PS5 since 2022 and quite frankly I just find the ease of access of games being on my PC more enticing to actually play them.

Last year I played like 3 video games that DIDN'T have to do with a video I made.

I'm at the point where I genuinely just click off the video if I hear it lol.

New video tomorrow, let's just say I cooked today.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone on this--it's a SUPER weird feeling; I've tried finding other things to fill their place and while I've become invested in new things, like D&D, it still isn't quite the same as what was there before.

I woke up with an upset stomach this morning, so I knew something was wrong.

Knew it was a terrible idea from the very instant it was announced, and lo and behold we get to see what it would've been.

I get to revel in the fact that I can say "I told you so" about this for the rest of my life lol.

Anyways I'm up super late working and should probably get some sleep; I always get super nostalgic when I stay up this late and just needed to get this off my chest.

Speaking of nostalgia, man I also miss old Cartoon Network--holy shit it sucks that we're never getting it back.
