I have checked and tested different packages for retouching. They are good at manipulating what is known but not particularly good at the unknown...missing sections of photographs...etc.

Thank You! You have a good eye. If I would be allowed to make an observation. Check out these two photographers for portraits...George Hurrel and Yousuf Karsh. Make it your own.

I am not sure if other artists like digital restoration but it is relaxing for me. I used to do this with brushes, pencils and an air brush. So it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks.
