The Göttingen replication games is underway! We have about 65 participants reproducing 18 studies. Many teams are working on a study dealing with deforestation and other issues related to agriculture and development.

A bar chart displays the percentage of national income that various developed countries allocated as Official Development Assistance (ODA) to the least developed nations in 2022, compared to a target of at least 0.15%. The bar for Luxembourg shows the highest percentage at 0.46%, followed by Sweden at 0.28% and Norway at 0.2%. Other countries listed include Iceland and Denmark at 0.14%, Belgium at 0.13%, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Japan all at 0.12%, each followed by Germany, France, and Ireland at 0.11%. New paper titled 'A comment on Dincecco et al. (2022): Pre-colonial warfare and long-run development in India' published in the Canadian Journal of Economics. We replicated & expanded the paper, which explores the relationship between pre-colonial interstate warfare & long-term development in India.
