Musk’s status as a “special government employee” limits him to 130 days in the executive branch. However, despite working daily—documented by his own X posts—they claim he only works one day a week, effectively stretching his limit to 130 weeks. This needs to be brought to Congress—please share.

Years ago a white editor* asked if I was biased about immigration stories because I'm an immigrant. I've been asked a version of this question dozens of times since. The driving idea is that people who embody difference introduce bias; it's the framework that maintains white supremacy in newsrooms.

Transgender troops will be removed from the military, Pentagon says
The policy goes further than the trans military ban that President Donald Trump instituted during his first term, which allowed some trans troops to continue serving.
Our service members are among the best and bravest our nation has to offer.
They are patriots who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
To demean thousands of transgender service members' sacrifice by removing them is cruel and stupid – and makes us all less safe.

A graphic with quote "“An evil deed is not redeemed by an evil deed of retaliation. Justice is never advanced in the taking of a human life. Morality is never upheld by a legalized murder.” The quote is attributed to "Corretta Scott King, speaking about the death penalty"
Above the quote is a photo of a sign that reads "no to death penalty"
Coretta Scott King was a staunch advocate to end the death penalty, both before and after her husband Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered.
Coretta’s words ring truer than ever today as we fight against President Trump’s plans to expand the use of capital punishment.

“If Americans do not reflect on slavery’s enduring legacy, on Reconstruction and its violent backlash, on Jim Crow and its transformation into modern mass incarceration, then they cannot fully understand why racial injustice persists today and they will not be equipped to fight it”

There’s no money to pay for 20 inpatient care beds at my VA, but there’s over $4 TRILLION available in tax cuts for Trump’s billionaire buddies?!?

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.
