I am using a combination of Drops kid silk and alpaca (the colour is much nicer in real life); now that I started a second alpaca ball the tension seems to be much better... would that have made a difference?!

For #showmeyourknits here's a sweater (although I would call this a jumper) I made for my husband. The neck did stretch quite a lot after being worn so I redid that to be tighter (a bit tricky as it's topdown). #knitsky #knitting It's called the Rambler and is to be worn walking in the woods. 😀🌲🍃🍄🦋

I think it's just k1 p1 on every fourth row if I remember rightly, so not too tricky! The yoke is ribbing.

Work in progress for a child's hand knitted sweater, the sleeves are being knit with double pointed needles.

So I came across this pic while researching for #wipwednesday and it made me question: if you knit a body with circular needles do you prefer to do the sleeves with DPNs or magic loop? Having discovered circular needles I use nothing else now. (This is going to be the Zandra) 💕 #knitsky #knitting
