I just finished watching the overview video and HOLY CRAP they are adding a RIDICULOUS amount of new stuff to the game. Looks like I'm getting re-addicted all over again.

My collection of "characters too cool for Disney Wars" figures continues to grow.

Pro tip: if you work in a hospital and are constantly hitting your hands with sanitizer through the course of your day... Rinse them off before picking the sleep crusties out of your eyes.

GT is still good, it's just not *as* good as DB and Z before it. So until 2015 it held the title of "worst DB series" just by default, and a stigma grew around it.

It also really just gets judged too harshly when it's functionally more like an extended Z epilogue than its own standalone series.

I'm happy to report that I got uncharacteristically lucky, and it only took one total reset for me to get a nature that I'm cool with.

So be prepared to delete your save data and totally start over if you want to reroll for a beneficial or at least neutral nature, like I'm currently having to do for my Tepig.

Well the first noticeable and unnecessary annoyance in #PokemonLegendsZA is that you apparently don't get to even glimpse your starter critter's stats until after the first battle... at which point the game's already auto-saved and locked things in.

Getting pretty friggin' sick of never being able to play my No Man's Sky save file on Switch 2 because that version of the game is constantly one half-update behind all the others.

Stop snubbing [my favorite Pokemon region], goddammit!

Well you've got me with the magic pants, but the rest of Real SS4's process is no less natural or believable than for Great Ape itself in the original story.

And case in point, at least Real SS4 actually evolved from preexisting concepts, and didn't just pop up out of nowhere like Fake SS4.

Me calling one version "real" and the other version "fake" does not mean that I'm denying the latter's existence or acting like they can't exist separately in their own respective continuities.

At least not for this.

Now if we're talking about Bardock, on the other hand...

Real SS4, the genuine article from GT, is gained naturally by going Golden Ape first and then gaining control over it.

Whereas Fake SS4 was zapped into existence by magic as a shortcut. And given its half-baked appearance, it's easy to surmise it's "incomplete" and not as good as the real thing.

And one more point for the road... it shouldn't be hard to understand why I call them "Real/True SS4" (GT) and "Fake SS4" (Daima).

The meta reason is obvious. And yes obviously part of it it is just me shitting on the new version like it deserves. But it makes sense in-universe too.

Seriously, just... Learn how to let people vent.

If you DON'T feel that modern Dragon Ball and its elements are barrel-bottom garbage, or somehow even LIKE it, then fine. Good for you. Feel free to ignore or even mute me, and move on with your day.

But don't try to argue with me about it. There is nothing for either of us to gain from doing so.

I've spent 10+ years having the fandom's worst shitgibbons constantly try to tell me that this new tripe is the only thing that matters anymore and that it somehow invalidated huge chunks of the classic good material, so my patience towards any attempted defense of this slop has long ago dried up.

For anyone who still doesn't get it, I will never stop calling out post-2013 Dragon Ball for being the hackneyed, soulless, creatively-bankrupt shitfest that it is. And I'll do so with whatever vernacular I so please.

It's already got GT Goku with Real SS4 for his Ultimate and Real SS4 Gogeta as a character, why drag that down?

My interest in the "proper manga" version of OPM dropped like a brick when it it bungled the big Saitama vs Garou fight, but all the constant redraws and replacements sure didn't help either.

I still get hyped for every new (though infrequent) update to the original webcomic version though.
