I always wish LRG would be a bit more ambitious with their collections, like including the N64 and Dreamcast games. Digital Eclipse really push out the boat with stuff like that.

I think games have to add support for Joycon mouse and USB mouse as completely separate things. So while Cyberpunk supports both Joycon mouse and USB mouse, Metroid only supports the former. It’s not very well handled.

I’ve always felt Sega should have doubled down on the SVP instead of doing the 32X. An SVP-powered port for Doom for the ‘base’ MegaDrive would have been incredible in the context of Christmas 1994.

I started very moderate on AI, recognising the both the potential benefits and issues. Corps then proceeded to reaffirm all the worst fears about AI.

I wonder if DRAM really does get scarce, 8GB VRAM might get extended support. RTX 50 Super series being supposedly cancelled suggests the 3GB modules aren't resulting in higher capacity cards for cheaper like the intent was.

I can’t believe I initially passed on Hyrule Warriors as ‘not my thing’. It’s on track to be my most played Switch 2 game.

Me with my 5800X3D / 32GB RAM / 4080S while AI completely destroys the PC industry by gobbling up all the DRAM.

One thing you could try is clearing the existing cached Proton files.
Go to Settings->System->Enable Developer Mode. Then press the Cog icon on the game->Developer->Delete Proton Files. That often fixes these kinds of issues when switching Proton version.

This was one of the first genuinely ‘squint and it looks real’ games for me.

You can fix the background video playback issue using GE-Proton instead of regular Proton. That add support for video codecs that Valve cannot legally support themselves.

I always just thought it was an emulation bug in the Sega MegaDrive/Genesis Classics collection.

imo we're at the point where most of the major distros are on par. I use Cachy and Fedora, but you're going to get a very similar experience from Ubuntu, Pop, Mint etc. We're out of the dark days in that sense.

Thinking I might need to get a 2TB HDD for eXoWin9x, eXoWin3x and eXoDOS since they’re huge. SSD maybe overkill.
