A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

I mean you have a world class culinary staff at your disposal, and you insult them by eating that shit. They have 5 full time chefs at the White House. WTEF.

The White House chefs must just hate him.

The only good thing you can say about Glen Youngkin is that he was so ineffective and seemingly disinterested in governing that he got next to nothing on his agenda done in Virginia.

The email the Army received says it’s coming from their housing allowance. It didn’t make it clear if soldiers who live on post will get it.

Who among us hasn’t used a government plane at the taxpayer’s expense to further our doomed from the start relationship?

You had to know when Mark Kelly et al. reminded soldiers that they shouldn’t follow illegal orders, they knew illegal orders were being issued. There was no reason for them to talk about it otherwise. Trump knew too. That’s why he started freaking out.

You have to get a doctorate in physical therapy to sit for the boards and get licensed. It is a graduate degree. 4 years of college + 3 years of graduate school. It is not “non college level”.

If we're finally going to crack down about lying to Congress under oath, I think there are several Cabinet members and a few Supreme Court justices whose testimonies might need revisiting.

Seriously. My husband is an internal medicine PCP. He said he got 1 lecture in med school about PT/OT/SLP and that was it. He had no idea PFPT (pelvic floor PT) was a thing until he met me. Luckily I think today, most OB/GYNs, urologists, oncologists, and GIs have PFPTs they refer to regularly.

It’s amazing how many patients don’t know about pelvic health PT or think it’s something “new”. I’ve been treating this population for 29 years and there were many more who came before me. We don’t save lives, but we change lives.

I know. I’m a pelvic health physical therapist. I treat patients with constipation daily. My point was we do way more than just exercises.

PFM exercise (either stretching or strengthening depending on their tone) is important, especially as a HEP, but evaluating and treating the different forms of dyssynergic defecation, utilizing Biofeedback and FES to retrain contract/relax, downtraining, diet modification, education, etc. is key.

Most of my patients with constipation have been told to take it every day. They don’t understand that they have the autonomy to change the dosage, the frequency, or discontinue it when it’s no longer needed. Many don’t realize their diarrhea and resultant FI is s/t Miralax. Education is key.

Too many people are told to take MiraLAX for constipation. They end up with diarrhea and FI. Better would be to really examine and change their diet (there’s never enough fiber and water) and activity level, and send them to pelvic floor PT so we can identify, treat and correct any PFM dysfunctions.

Use White Lily self rising flour and omit the baking powder and salt in the biscuit recipe as it’s already in self rising flour. Freeze your butter and then grate it for the biscuits. You will never want a crusted pot pie ever again. You’re welcome.
