You are loved too, Henry xx
14.02.2026 18:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thatβs dementia.
21.01.2026 18:46 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Intelligent and undemented people. His dementia has visibly progressed in the last week.
21.01.2026 18:45 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But visibly worse over the last week.
21.01.2026 18:44 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I donβt think heβs in control of his mind enough for that now.
21.01.2026 18:43 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0100%.
21.01.2026 18:43 β π 13 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt think he can. He is in advanced dementia, has only got there in the last few days, and has lost inhibitions, which means even he canβt control what he says any more. He must surely be removed by the 25th now.
21.01.2026 18:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He is now in advanced dementia and declining fast.
21.01.2026 18:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Standard dementia- gaps in the memory filled in by fantasy which the patient believes in, along with loss of inhibitions so even they canβt control what they say any more. It will only get worse now.
21.01.2026 18:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It seems pretty clear that heβs fallen off a cliff in the last few days, and thatβs losing his inhibitions. Which means even he canβt control, what he says any more. I donβt see how the US can let that continue.
21.01.2026 18:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Only while a person with advanced dementia is in charge. And that canβt continue, surely. Heβs fallen off the cliff in the last few days. His inhibitions have gone and that means *he*canβt contro what he says any more. Canβt have that.
21.01.2026 18:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I would hve thought sheβs thrown away her chance to lead by humiliating herself like that. If sheβll do that, what else would she do?
17.01.2026 09:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Itβs Trumpβs complete inability to work out when heβs making a total tit of himself and being laughed at by the other 7 billion people on earth that intrigues me. Most ppl have a βtheyβre laughing at meβ detector. Not him.
17.01.2026 08:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Tim Montgomerie? As an arbiter of morality in politics? π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
17.01.2026 08:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The weirdest thing about Americans is how many of them think their laws apply to every person in the world.
But they're certain other countries' laws don't apply to them.
If youβre very selective sales can be good - I bought calendars half price as always. There are a few things I never pay full price for - eg coffee, mushrooms, calendars!
03.01.2026 09:11 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Mine is to block, instantly, people on social media I see being cruel, nasty, malicious etc. Itβs not funny or clever and I donβt want to see it. So why should I When I can block them?
01.01.2026 10:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0@keepfits.bsky.social hello Henry! Xxx
30.12.2025 20:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Aspergerβs, but itβs not called that nowadays and we desperately need new terminology to distinguish the two.
13.12.2024 08:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It took me three seconds to Google it. Itβs another name for classic autism, which is not much like Aspergerβs
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic...
And I agree that parents can be a positive hindrance when they donβt try to impose any limits. My sonβs whole education has been about helping him to fit in with the world as well as possible, not to divorce him farther from it, as far as possible. Heβs done well but is still profoundly disabled.
11.12.2024 21:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And that itβs a VERY different affair from something that some ppl actually call a gift. Kannerβs is not something Iβd wish on anyone.
11.12.2024 21:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes, but MY point is that there are two very distinct types of autism, over and above the βtheyβre all differentβ cliche, and that very few ppl are familiar with profound/Kannerβs autism. All I try to do is remind ppl who have only heard of or met ppl with Aspergerβs, as was, that Kannerβs exists.
11.12.2024 21:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβm not going to argue about profound autism because I have lived with someone who is both profoundly autistic and severely learning disabled, for 34 years. I know what he can and canβt do.
11.12.2024 16:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0No, itβs fine. I just feel I have to keep on pointing out that not every autistic person is otherwise able to live independently, function well intellectually and advocate for themselves. Profound autism is generally ignored in the public consciousness, unfortunately. My adult son is one of these.
11.12.2024 10:13 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thatβs not the autism, itβs the learning difficulties that so often go with severe/profound autism. They are adults with adult impulses but donβt understand them. But since those people need 24/7 care, they wonβt be out in jobs or in the general community anyway. They are disabled, not criminals.
11.12.2024 07:59 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Severe autism often goes with learning difficulties, because severe autism isnβt like the other end of the spectrum. But even that combination doesnβt make anyone a criminal.
11.12.2024 07:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thank you, thank you, thank you. Nor for being a murderer. My adult son is profoundly autistic and goes to sheltered workshops with many others like him. They are gentle, shy and childlike. Not criminals
11.12.2024 07:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0@sirbenfro.bsky.social this reminds me of what happened to Tonyβs flat - so many fires
