SPOOKS Ghosts are sometimes known as spooks, As sometimes are those who are known to spy, Perhaps they are trying to hunt down nukes, But often they are looking to keep an eye. Secret agents like to hide away, As they carry out their work in silence, They dress in black and darkest grey, And hide behind the garden fence. They can disappear into the background, and report your deeds unto their masters, and sometimes they cannot be found, as they seek to prevent imminent disasters. But I, of course, am not a spy, Despite what many stuffies think, I've never chased down a foreign bad guy, Or had a shaken vodka drink. But yes I'll keep the Aston car, and drive it as often as I can, I'll drive it near and drive it far, and hope I don't get a driving ban. But now I must get on my way, as a mission has just filled up my inbox, What the task is I cannot say, As the attachments are all top secret docs.

What I did on my holidays. This year has been a busy year, So we really needed some times of cheer, We took some time to wander North, At some time around July the 4th. We first of all saw a hoom graduate, We were really proud as she did great, Then we went to see some hooms get wed, Before even further North we sped. We got unto the far North West, It was there that we did finally rest, We sat upon the beach and swam, And then went back to have a dram. We looked for otters and other beasts, And we all enjoyed so many feasts, But all too soon it was time for home, And we all wished that we could just roam and roam. by Codsy, aged 25 and three quarters.

Hello everyone here is my poem for #furrybards #furrytails

Next month we will be back to normal on the first Wednesday of the month and the theme will be "What I did on my holidays" - the old back to school classic. I'll send out a reminder the week before.

It’s a free for all. I’ve been super busy and not managed to sort anything out

Enjoyed a weekend away with the hooms to #shieldaiglodge. Forg and I played pool and we searched for otters as well as enjoying a nice whisky or two.

Emeritus Prof Skog is moving out of his University accommodation today and is returning to Furry Cottage temporarily before moving to London to continue his research activities.

Ice Cream When in St Andrews I like to stop, At what has become my favourite shop, It is a place that makes me beam, And that is Jannettas, who make ice cream. The board it has so many flavours, That I would like the time to savour, To think it through and choose with care, The tastes that I would like to pair. I do quite like their Honeycomb, The crunchie bits make taste buds foam, Matched with vanilla or local strawberry, Or sometimes rippled with nice raspberry. But whatever flavours that are chosen, For your food so expertly frozen, A flake and wafer is added too, For the treat created just for you.
