04.08.2025 19:13 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Pleasantly surprised by Quincy Square in Bremerton β a chill, pedestrian-only street that proves you donβt need to be a big city to dream big.
Every town deserves vibrant, people-first spaces to gather, shop, and celebrate local life.
CC is buried in the blue lines. Itβs the one that goes diagonal & has the missing station label (Oops!)
04.08.2025 12:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Perhaps for right nowβ¦ but thatβs not going to remain the case for how long itβd take for this to get built π
04.08.2025 01:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I did my first ride on the new Beacon Hill bike lanes and dang what an improvement.
04.08.2025 00:16 β π 100 π 3 π¬ 4 π 2Cumberland & Doraville should be 5-10 min headways (peak to off-peak), but yβall get the spiel
03.08.2025 21:28 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0edgewood-candler park station got a major art upgrade. π anyone know whoβs responsible for this?
03.08.2025 16:21 β π 29 π 2 π¬ 3 π 1Removed some of the extra transit lines for a simpler view of what serving more of Intown and Cumberland could look like π
Obviously all lines could be extended further. South Fulton, Hapeville -> Jonesboro -> Macon, Marietta, Alpharetta, Duluth, Six Flagsβ¦
-3min. headways Airport to Lindbergh
-10 minute headways from Doraville & Cumberland
-HCT alternatives to βWest Midtownβ gridlock
-Infill at Krog, Mechanicsville, Pershing Point, & Armour Yard
-Stations at various parks (Westside, Piedmont, South River, & the Chattahoochee)

31.07.2025 22:58 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Donβt worry- soon there will be a Jumbotron overhead of you there because *THAT* is exactly what this area needs!!!
28.07.2025 21:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Why the fuck are Alabama and broad not closed to car traffic, we could just use these streets as bus bays with dedicated signage for each route
28.07.2025 21:24 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Atlanta- weβre not going to miss underused vehicular lanes. We will miss people whose lives are altered due to unsafe infrastructure.
Hereβs a few sample locations to change:
Convert 1/2 of RDA to a linear park:

100%!
28.07.2025 00:32 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Seems like the Tech Parkway playbook would be perfect here.
27.07.2025 23:32 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0I donβt hit many of these all that regularly or in both directions, since AAA routes are generally nicer, and thereβs not really a set standard because I started making this on the fly years ago in Google Maps. But itβs something.
27.07.2025 23:27 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0We really have! And lots of projects in the pipeline. Once the next wave of projects finish and we have another wave in queue, I will feel much better about things. That said, knowing the right routes now makes for some really nice, enjoyable routes around the city.
28.07.2025 00:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sample concepts below π

While I think the $$$ could have been better spent on other areas / communities still mostly dealing the negative externalities, I donβt think itβs the norm of what people broadly believe. Shiny coin syndrome & all.
27.07.2025 21:10 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In contrast, many East Asian cities, though most households also own private cars, have vibrant central districts thanks to the extensive development of convenient public transit. As a result, people still see the city center as a place for gathering and shopping. οΌ3οΌ
27.07.2025 20:18 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Suuuuuper limited overall
27.07.2025 19:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Especially as the densest past of Mechanicsville gets blocked in North / South at times due to trains stopped on the tracks.
Neither Metropolitan, Windsor, or Pryor are safe, inviting alternatives at their current state.
Providing a safe bypass from the train tracks is enough of a reason to get RDA done
27.07.2025 18:37 β π 4 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0I genuinely believe adjusting RDA would go down as one of Atlantaβs most transformative infrastructure projects. Arguably more so than The Stitch.
-Connects historically black redlined neighborhoods
-New service area located inconvenient walking distance to @atlantabeltline.org
McDaniels- 2 lanes for widened sidewalks, bus stops, and protected cycle track.
Add in more trees!!!
Think of all the trees, greenspace, better sidewalks, protected bike lanes, & space for bus riders we could provide. RDA could be part busway!
Castleberry Hill: Peters & Walker Streets- widen sidewalks, create small gathering areas for pedestrians, & add protected cycle tracks.
Atlanta- weβre not going to miss underused vehicular lanes. We will miss people whose lives are altered due to unsafe infrastructure.

Wanted to hit up Malt but never made it. Looks dope. Beer. Music.
Kricket SoHo was also a notable standout for us from a food & drinks perspective!
