Thanks, I was heavily leaning that way already. Iβd love to get more engaged with local politics but I honestly didnβt even know there was an election next week until a canvasser for Rohit knocked on my door today.

One has been in office for 8 years and hasnβt moved the needle. The other founded a civic engagement & political watchdog organization, which has been educating & informing the constituency for years.
IMO, Atlanta will see far better returns with the latter, Rohit Malhotra.

Glowing endorsement here.
Great opportunity to remind Atlantans is you want to see more candidates support your issues, you need to actively sow the field and position a deep bench of potential candidates to run & *maybe* get elected. At every possible seat of influence!

ATLDOT really needs to convert Edgewood and Auburn into one-way streets along the direction of the Streetcar! Should have timed the change with the construction work

Atlantans! Any voting recs & rationale for either:
1. judges up for re-election,
2. BOE seats, &
3. ad valorem referendum for seniors?
Early voting has started! Do your homework and vote Rohit!!!

Thoughts on Rinker as an alternative to Bond?
14.10.2025 16:57 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0
Both Rinker and Mendoza are preferred over Bond! Donβt think youβll go wrong with one and I anticipate their votes will get split, so I donβt think 1 over another wins without a runoff.

Still need to review judges & BOE seats.
Ad Valorem- leaning no, but not convinced either way. More $ for students or more money for all seniors.
At face value I donβt believe all seniors should have a reduced cost.

Depends on your district and if youβre looking at more than city seats (we should be voting for each option available!).
Generally:
-If protest voting mayor, select a legitimate name so it counts against / not thrown away
-President: Rohit
-P1AL: anyone except for Bond
-PSEC: Dem slate

Most funding the past few decades is going to be private investment which yes correlates with north of the seatbelt.
But less than 20% of a fund for more than 50% of the city population when other funds are adamant on equitable spending, ie transit investment? Thatβs a tall order.
