Data Centers are a perfect representation of everything wrong with America. Socialize the costs, privatize the profits through mass exploitation of the people. The biggest, richest, most powerful corporations on Earth want to use OUR public tax dollars to build behemoth facilities that will steal our fresh water and hoard our energy (jacking up power costs for all of us) in order to harvest (and sell) our personal data and train their Ai programs to eventually take our jobs. This is societal suicide. We are actively allowing big tech corporations to destroy our country, AND WE ARE PAYING FOR IT ALL (literally and metaphorically).
