Even if they managed to get it published, the wider audience reading it will know it's AI-based and doesn't meet the rigour required for publishing. So, it's published, but they'll likely not get much credit. I can take some comfort in that I suppose!

I don't love reintroductions, but in my head when i saw the list it was sort of synonymous with 'research into their conservation' which - as you say - we have resources to do.
