Yep. There's a church in my area that helps the unhoused and people who need connecting to resources and all you hear about is how there's 'needles everywhere' and it's 'dangerous.' I pass through the neighborhood every other week; I've never seen a needle and it feels just as safe as elsewhere.

I read that one just the other week! It was (imo) worth the read.

I had an intro to silkscreening workshop on Friday. It was a really cool process! Made a couple of stencils and it got my brain art-ing in a new direction.

Pretty pleased with this piece I painted today, totally not relevant to anything. Acrylic, watercolors, and marker.

Due to a lot of pain, the kettle boiling, and the cat yelling I wasn't paying attention when I went to take painkillers and took adhd meds at 10pm last night instead. It's 7 hours later. I'm tired but my legs are so restless that I'm thinking about going back in time and trying out for Riverdance.

While we're on the subject, let's address the more casual kind of ableist language.

All I am asking is that folks think about the words they use.
