Felt like they had to very quickly scale everything up to satisfy the climax, but the scope felt kind of unearned. We need to feel the escalation. We can’t just be shown it

Exactly my thoughts. I think if the show wasn’t as good, it wouldn’t have upset me as much that it ended this way. So many characters and such a small amount of time to conclude everything. Felt like this had many more seasons out of it, but it’s just over

I think it’s the only way to make it fair. People who earned them previously who were told the only way to get them was to grind the BP should still feel like they earned it. But there should be ways for people who weren’t playing years ago to play as these iconic characters

That’s only mentions items from new battle passes. From C5S3 onwards. There’s nothing in the language to say that they can’t resell an old battle pass in its entirety. I think it would be scummy for them to sell just items, but if you had to earn it? I see not issues

Literally all those links talk about them releasing Battle Pass items in the item shop, which is obviously an option now with the new BPs. There hasn’t been anything that explicitly says they wont/can’t rerelease old battle passes, just that they won’t sell individual items from them

Every single one of those ‘sources’ is about purchasing BP items in the store following the new rules from the last chapter and the last link is more speculating and isn’t from Epic

No they haven’t. They haven’t explicitly said “no old items will come back”. Why would Fortnite change EVERYTHING about how battle passes & exclusivity works and not make older items available?

At the end of the day, digital assets have no “rarity”. It’s all artificial scarcity. If people get upset that their rare skin is suddenly more accessible, then they need a priority check. New players should be able to play as whoever they want, especially collab skins

Yes, but that does not mean that previous skins will not ever been available in some way. They wrote the terms and conditions on all of this, only they know what they can and can’t do

There’s no way of knowing what the OG Pass will entail yet. But Fortnite is moving away from exclusivity and I can imagine them rereleasing the old passed through this way

You’ll still have to work to earn the skins, but Darth Vader etc being tied to a BP over 2 years ago is dumb and shortsighted
