🎮 I thought the elemental shrine grind was a bit much. Tactics Ogre said “how bout dat Palace of the Dead tho”. Another 100 battle grind just to get 2 trophies? After spending a good 10 hours on it this weekend, I’m only on floor 53.

Spent the week finally being out of the office, meeting clients, getting my caseload, getting paid to sip coffee on a park bench, etc 💁‍♂️ Now it’s time for a Tactics Ogre weekend, bitches

If I had this game when I was a kid I would have played the shit out of it. I played the handful of fire emblem games I had and final fantasy tactics dozens of times each and would have obsessed over this one too

🎮 Did not fully comprehend the depth of the side content in Tactics Ogre. Just finding out the 6 trophies for clearing the elemental temples is a 42+ battle process. 1 Temple down, 5 more to go 😮‍💨

It’s such a grind but it adds to the satisfying nostalgia feels of playing an old school tactics RPG. Because masochism or something

58 hours into the first Tactics Ogre run. Just finished the battle at Barnicia Castle. Still have the Lawful and Neutral routes to play through and all the side quests/dungeons in the end game to get through 😮‍💨

Someone else said they were calling me a fascist but in context it makes sense now. They were laughing at a story about a petty stamp I had on my desk from my last job that said “Lord J 1000”. This was clearly a joke I just didn’t fully comprehend in the moment 😂
