Indeed. Will be sad to see Bottas go. if this is his last drive in F1.

08.12.2024 13:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Stoked for the new season of Severance...but can't help remembering The Prisoner, too... anybody else get that vibe?

I'm guessing that Perez, who is a good driver, but obviously not in the top tier, is either in denial, or suffering from reverse impostor syndrome.
Shame, as he has had quite a career, but looking like it's over. Unless he can find another seat somewhere, but that does look unlikely.
Fritillaries in spring. Beautiful purple bell shaped flowers.
Going into winter, now, here in SW France...looking forward to seeing these again next Spring.
Fritillaries, in case you didn't recognise them.
Very fake Gibsons! With bolt on necks, you know like. O other Real Les Paul, ever !
Someone already posted somewhere that you can order kit guitars like these for $50 on Ali Baba.
The grift continuesβ¦
Well faced with rhyming BΓΌstenhalter, what would do?
30.11.2024 13:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One of the albums that changed my life. Showed me that being a violin player didn't mean i couldn't rock.
25.11.2024 19:38 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0For what it's worth I'm an (aging) Brit, who retired to SW France a few years ago after what seemed like several lifetimes in London. Loving it here and am getting back into doing music again. Although my increasingly arthritic hands are starting to make playing a 5 string bass more difficult.
25.11.2024 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I was really only a viewer on Twitter but was fast becoming annoyed by the whole tenor of discourse there. I didn't come here instead for an echo chamber, but a place where you can interact with civility. So far so good. Hoping it remains that way.
25.11.2024 18:56 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just been watching Prof Gerdes Explains on YT about why people are quitting twitter for bluesky. Interesting video and interesting conclusions. I know not many people will see this post, but I do find it interesting to know what people's motivations are for switching...
25.11.2024 18:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Also noted that Justin Scroggy (ie?) might have been the name of a character in a book of yours, but apparently you were gazumped by Richard Osman. Author's rivalry, perhaps?π
22.11.2024 13:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Maybe because i had recently re-read a few of Christopher priest's books, i did get a strong "Priest"vibe from this. Would be interesting to see more in that "slipstream" vein in future.

20.11.2024 14:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Nothing much to say... first post here. Left "You Know Where" and decided to jump ship here. Still looking around and searching for good posts, and followees (word?)
20.11.2024 14:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep. The jury's still out on that one! Depends on if you are Penrose, I guess.
