My conservative mom is still freaked out by boba. Fear of change holds back a lot of good food from catching on, I fear. I live in SC and we're just now seeing boba cafes pop up here and there, the right wing culture war stands no chance against delicious food and drink ; )

'Murder'
A spooky image, although I suppose most don't see it that way. The title refers to the character's fear that what they've done for their kingdom goes beyond loyally serving.

Man, in the 90s and 00s, good luck finding a tea cafe anywhere but chinatown or maybe, if you're lucky, an asian grocery store of some sort. Too 'foreign', too weeb, just impossible to find. At least a few things are moving in the right direction : )

I'm the wrong person to ask but apparently boba tea and matcha are like, socially acceptable drinks to want, now. Where was that when I was growing up?
