Important to remember DHS came about in 2002, in living memory for most ppl reading this. It is not some long-standing, load-bearing staple of our government. It was a fascist power play way back then, approved in a knee jerk reaction to 9/11. Defunding isn’t enough. Rip it ALL out by the roots.

I got to see so many awesome bands in 2025. The last couple years, live music/concerts have become a way for my mildly-misanthropic self to reconnect with other humans, to love art in the moment and feel hope again despite creative despair.

I hope you find what you need to keep going in 2026!

This was the year I got really into drawing clouds. There's a bunch of good ones in the upcoming pages so you'll have to wait for those (they are up on Patreon, tho, if you simply cannot wait for the clouds.) I also like this one lightning panel for silly esoteric reasons.

Here's a couple of my favorite panels from Oren's Forge this year, presented in a way that Bluesky will likely cronch into oblivion like a wolf pup with a fish head, alas.

Messing around with soft pastels.

Yeah.. that happened to me for about a year. I remember trying to draw made me feel physically sick, like every muscle in my body was rebelling—I’d just be vibrating and fighting the urge to throw my tablet pen. Even just some steel wool pressed into the edges of where you caulk to hold on chicken wire should prevent rodents from trying to chew through the caulk. Any how, good luck! I hope you can get it sorted without too much trouble!
