We'll hold our regularly monthly meeting this Wednesday evening. Likely to include:

- Updates on upcoming LTNs
- A Burns Night debrief
- Upcoming election, what should be our asks for candidates, husting arrangements
- Upcoming rides planning

If you live in the Well Street area, or regularly travel through there, this is a good opportunity to give input into upcoming changes.

Certainly there are opportunities availble to make certain streets much more pleasant and people-focused, and to join up existing cycle routes better.

Burns Night 2026 is up and running!

Court of Appeal just ruled Tower Hamlets DECISION to remove the Bethnal Green LTN is UNLAWFUL.

Councils can't remove without going through proper process & getting Mayor of London's approval.

This is a MASSIVE precedent for London. Years of work vindicated.

Camden leads where Hackney fails.
Pembury Junction redesign should have separate cycle track. @hackneylcc.bsky.social gave indicative, fully specced designs.
Camden show (at York Way & Agar Grove junction) they know how to build-in safety, whereas Hackney wouldn't.

The situation on cycleway 1 at Whitmore Road is just completely unworkable and it is a travesty the Hoxton LTN hasn’t been designed to fix this. There is *far* too much motor traffic for these cycle flows. Someone is going to get hurt. @sarahwoodberrydown.bsky.social @hackneylcc.bsky.social

'Strikelists' have taken over London after the Tube network ground to a halt Seasoned cyclists have reported 'dodgy behaviour' from inexperienced riders during the Tube strike.

More cyclists, even wobbly ones, a good thing!
