I went to a wedding yesterday evening, in the most beautiful spot, the Physic Garden in Chelsea, and the first person I see on the way in is this fab woman, who says, “I recognise you from Bluesky!”

I was making this card for my mum’s birthday earlier.

As I finished, my son took it - to, he said, “draw on armpit hair”.

As he was doing it, I saw a cheeky look on his face, and found myself shouting:

“Don’t, in any circumstances, draw a penis on the baboon!”

Yeah I need a decent rucksack with the straps across the chest I think! Also it was just much too heavy

shock was part of it. It’s also the summer holidays so there were quite a lot of kids on the tube.

It had never even occurred to me that this could happen, so worth keeping your phone and possessions safe!

The doors opened at Manor House, and five teens got on with masks over their face.

Sound up for when it swings up … squawking! And glasses nearly fell off.

For a while I was frustrated that so many playgrounds were closed- but now I see why- they were all being redone!

The other evening, past 7 PM, I counted 11 children waiting for a go on the zip wire.

My daughter was also invited to a birthday party at the new playground at Ally Pally train station, and we cycled there too, through the LTN.

Tambo rec in the sun

A lot of our local playgrounds are being redone, and one called Tambo Rec has reopened and is now glorious.

We go there most evenings at about 6 or 7 PM and it’s always packed with children of all ages.

Playgrounds are so great aren’t they because they’re free. And everything is so … 2/5
