I live in a U.S. territory. The way the U.S. supports the territories is pathetic. Territories have no representation yet we pay federal taxes. We elect and send delegates to DC who have to beg Congress for money. Even FEMA support is underfunded.

Honestly, at first I was not impressed with the performance. Then it dawned on me that he was leading us through his life, and his love for Puerto Rico, and sending a message about acceptance and unity. The ending message about being “American” was fantastic. The US doesn’t own that label.

I have to give the NFL credit for the courage to embrace a diverse line-up of entertainers for the Super Bowl. Green Day hates Trump, Brandi Carlile is gay, and of course the man event, a Puerto Rican American performing in Spanish. Is the NFL woke? Hope so!

Every time I see a letter addressed to someone in this administration as “The Honorable” I am disgusted. No one in this administration deserves that honorific. They do not deserve that respect. They dishonor the country and themselves by their actions.

Posting from St Croix, USVI. There are 3 KC-46 tankers on the tarmac of the STX airport. This airport has the longest runway in the Caribbean and I assume they are supporting actions against Venezuela. At ~0500 I could hear aircraft departing (jet). No commercial flights leave for hours. 1/2
