Used to buy "organic ground beef" at Costco. No more, no idea whether it's actually organic or even safe to eat. Lots of homegrown products. I'd be happy if they barred US stuff from coming here.

Not sure of the context of her point, but I might agree. If we ship more LNG to supplanted coal/dung/oil fired power generation then yes we will have a more substantive impact on GHGs across the world than ever will reducing our 1.5% of global GHG output. And we can actually maintain our lifestyle!

I don't believe those numbers. We live 1/2 hour from Niagara and almost no one around me goes, except 1 family that is pretty stubborn.

I think it's sad that this even needs to be talked about. We are supposed to hold our elected reps to a high standard & we expect them to act in OUR best interest. If they lie, they should be removed from office, plain and simple. Is that not part of the oath we see them swearing to every election?

Again, why does anyone want to go there anyway? Too risky to even walk down the street if you don't get arrested for any reason. Just stay away, go elsewhere. Lots of other places in the world much better. Or stay just here, Canada has so much to offer.

Saw that story last night on the news. So sad, but he was living in the US. Has a baby girl as well.

Also heard similar stories about harassment. We were on a cruise in February. 95% of passengers were Americans. Most were nice. Several were not. Turned us off that cruise line.

That's another reason to mute the phone while on hold.

I live in an adult lifestyle neighborhood. Lots of snowbirds here. Many aren't going back. Ha e sold or are selling. One couple even sold their motor home that they used to stay in in Florida.

Just 2 more reasons to never go there again. And I live about 40 minutes from that border crossing. Haven't been across since the 🍊💩 first term. Will likely never go again.

While I agree it's a service, there appears to be no reason to deliver that service as was done in the past. We shouldn't subsidize this just because that's the way it always was done. Lots has changed. I'm good with less frequent deliveries as I don't get much more than junk mail most weeks
